Notes:
Results : Prebloom. In these results we have summed all stages of lygus bug
in 3 sweep samples, 1,8, and 15 days after prebloom applications. Lygus bugs
populations were lowest in late clip strips. Early clip strips also had
reduced bug populations in the first two weeks after the prebloom spray.
The dashed line is the published spray threshold for Lygus bug. Late clipped
strips were the only place where a decision for a bloom spray would be
postponed 15 days after the prebloom spray, but at that time little bloom
was available in the late clipped strips.
